详细说明: FROM THE UNFORGETTABLE COLLECTION An unimpeachable SUPERB GEM, tied for second FINEST graded at PCGS and among the most visually appealing 1921 Pilgrim half we have seen! Clearly this impressive example has been lovingly cared for over the last 101 years, allowing it to take on a gentle blush of toning and remain in virtually PRISTINE condition! The luster is exceptionally brilliant, glowing with a warm, satiny vibrance. Coppery-orange gold clings to the periphery, while blending to a soft, sky blue, pastel rose, pale periwinkle, and iridescent hues that come to life when rotated in a light. Were it not for a microscopic tick or two, this coin may have made its way into a 68 holder; it certainly has the eye appeal! PCGS 66, NGC 38, CAC 11. PCGS has graded 10 in MS67+. The last two sold in 2021 for $6,600 and we sold a similar looking coin for $7,050 back in March 2020. The current PCGS Price Guide value is $7,500 and this coin could surpass that level when it crosses the block. A single MS68 is graded finer, a coin that has yet to sell in auction.
