1795 Capped Bust Right Half Eagle. Small Eagle. BD-9. Rarity-5+. AU-55 (PCGS). A second handsome example of the first year in the United States Mint's half eagle series. Evenly toned in olive-gold and medium orange patina, both sides reveal original satin luster as the coin rotates under a light. The strike is expertly centered and features full definition over all but the highest design elements in the centers. Very well preserved for the type, and sure to find its way into an advanced collection. PCGS# 8066. NGC ID: 25ND.
