FROM THE SAND HILL COLLECTION. Very high end for the grade and offering a fully PL look with bold cameo-like contrast on both sides. boldly struck from clashed dies, every detail is fully rendered with an exacting blow from the dies. The eye appeal is very high end indeed! Only 5,200 were struck and PCGS CoinFacts estimates 150 survive in all grades. PCGS 15, NGC 9, CAC 5. VERY RARE any finer! The last PCGS graded MS64 sold in October 2006, clearly these do not appear with any frequency! The last MS65 sold in auction in 2005.
