- Distinctive Mint Red and exceptionally sharp details are the hallmarks of this true GEM. The central obverse is an attractive pink-rose hue, otherwise fully red throughout. Some miniscule toning flecks are visible with magnification at the upper left obverse, but they do not detract in any way. Although available in lower Mint State grades, this date is seldom encountered in this superb state of preservation. PCGS 25, NGC 4, CAC 5. The highest grade stickered by CAC, with only 5 graded MS66+ by PCGS. The PCGS price guide lists the value at $3,750 and the last auction appearance recorded a price of $3,240 in April 2020.
