- 1799/8 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. B-3, BB-141. Rarity-3. BB Die State IV. 15-Star Reverse. EF-40 (PCGS). Clean surfaces with delicate gold and russet toning over silver fields and devices. The strike is average for this die pairing and the rims and fields are of pleasing quality. Identifiable by a minor toning streak behind Liberty's hair ribbon in the field. Smooth wear and solid eye appeal for the collector. This die pair has both the overdate feature and the fifteen star reverse blunder to enjoy. PCGS# 6883.
