- 1892-O Barber Dime. MS-66 (PCGS). Breathtakingly beautiful surfaces are splashed with vivid cobalt blue and rose-apricot toning. The 1892-O was the first New Orleans Mint Barber dime and has a mintage of 3,841,700 pieces. The novelty of the design also resulted in a fair number of examples being set aside by the public at the time of issue, and it is now regarded as the most available New Orleans Mint Barber dime in Mint State (per our own Jeff Ambio in the 2009 reference Collecting & Investing Strategies for Barber Dimes).
