A very scarce date, only 8,000 were struck, as the mint was busy churning out silver dollars. Housed in an older generation green tag holder, this coin appears to be conservatively graded, we have seen 64s that do not have the pop and flash that this semi-reflective, lustrous CHOICE example will delight any collector! A few ancient hairlines are all that keep this coin from a higher grade, and are only visible with a glass. Sharply struck and very eye appealing! PCGS 19, NGC 7, CAC 3. No CAC-approved example has ever sold in auction, and mint state examples appear very infrequently. We can see this coin bringing closer to MS64 money than MS63. Good luck! Cert.
