- 1864 Indian Cent. Copper-Nickel. Snow PR-1, the only known dies. Proof-65 (PCGS). This predominantly medium tan cent has scattered splashes of light silver and pale lilac tinting. The surfaces are just right for the assigned Gem grade with a full strike from the rims to the centers. An early die stage example from these dies, a crack that would later develop from the obverse border through the letters NI in UNITED is not yet present.
