详细说明: Premium Quality all the way! VERY RARE any finer! This is a very impressive GEM on many layers. First the technical quality is bordering on the SUPERB classification. The surfaces are clean, devoid of any contact worthy of mention and there are no flecks or discolorations of any kind to be found even with the aid of a strong glass. The color is wonderful, brilliant red with accents of soft gold and richer orange, and tinges of violet. Generally well struck for the date, there is some softness, which can be seen, more from die wear than from poor striking pressure. The eye appeal is excellent! PCGS 17, NGC 4, CAC 5. The most recent example sold for $6,011 in the recent 2022 ANA auction; prior to that, one sold for $6,900 in August 2021. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $6,000 and the CAC CPG value is $7,500. Just eight coins are graded higher at PCGS the FINEST being a PCGS MS67 RD CAC that brought $50,400 over two years ago.
