- GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Brunswick. Taler, 1701-RB. Zellerfeld Mint. Rudolph August & Anton Ulrich. PCGS AU-55. Dav-2112; KM-A637; Welter-2070. A rather enchanting and charming example of the type, with some hues of cobalt clinging to and further highlighting the legends. A minor planchet flaw is noted on one of the crested helmets in the coat-of-arms, but is not distracting. Meanwhile, the depiction of the wildman is quite interesting in that, as robust and defined as his facial hair and core are, all of his limbs seemingly create a more emaciated aspect to his physique, making one wonder what is really contained within his exercise regimen.
