RUSSIA. Ruble, 1741-CNB. Ivan VI (1740-41). NGC EF-40. Bit-32; Dav-1676. Endlessly demanded due to Ivan's short reign, with this piece being as pleasing as one could imagine for the grade, with deep gray tone blanketing all but the highest portions of the design where wear is present and fields that are impressively free from noteworthy contact marks. On the whole, a coin that is absolutely ideal for the assigned grade, and as such, sure to attract spirited bidding until the hammer falls. Estimate: $5,000 - $8,000.
