- Condition Rarity 1884-CC Morgan Dollar 1884-CC Morgan Silver Dollar. MS-67+ (NGC). A beautiful, exceptionally well preserved example of this otherwise plentiful Carson City Mint Morgan dollar. Essentially brilliant on the reverse, the obverse exhibits a splash of reddish-apricot iridescence radiating out from the center. Both sides are sharply struck with full, smooth satin luster that borders on pristine. The 1884-CC ranks alongside the 1882-CC and 1883-CC as one of the most common CC-Mint silver dollars of this perennially popular design type. On the other hand, all three issues are scarce in the finest Mint State grades, especially relative to the demand for such pieces among discerning Morgan dollar and Carson City Mint enthusiasts.
