- EX FAIRMONT This is a crazy GEM original SUPER HIGH-END coin! It does have claims to at least MS62+ (no promises tho). Remarkably clean and smooth surfaces dominate all over. Even using a strong glass and looking hard you will only find very minimal scattered chatter. This is the kind of coin you will twirl and be delighted by the serious luster. There is a light layer of natural toning (calling this coin "dirty" would be wrong. Both sides are a beautiful gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck and are lightly frosted. The eye appeal is super! PCGS 5, NGC 1, CAC 2. PCGS has graded only 2 coins higher while CAC has NONE higher. There are NO accurate published prices for a coin of this magnitude. We'll be blunt: Legend paid $40,800 out of Fairmont. They had placed a $60,000 bid. We know early $20 like this in this kind of state of preservation are irreplaceable. As gold rises, so will the value of a rarity like this! Cert. Number 44882748 PCGS # 8925
