详细说明: What a gorgeous SUPERB GEM 1903 Proof Morgan! The quality is incredible and the eye appeal superior to the vast majority known. WOW! After 1901, for reasons unknown, the mint changed the method of preparing Proof dies. Prior to 1901, the devices were protected to leave them with a frosted texture, surrounding the reflective mirrored fields. After 1901, the mint polished the entire surface of the dies, not just the fields, giving the devices a glossy-reflective texture and not the frosted cameo look as seen on earlier issues. The present exceptional quality PR67 has absolutely flawless mirrors and surfaces that gleam from below a thick, rich layer of deep azure and verdant toning. Accents of amber, gold, and original silver gleam when the light hits the stunning underlying reflective brilliance. You need to see this SUPERB GEM in hand to get the full effect of the eye appeal! Only 755 Proofs were struck. PCGS 11, NGC 25, CAC 7. This coin is the ONLY CAC example of this grade to sell; most recently it sold in the 2020 FUN auction for $11,400. The current CAC CPG value is $13,500 and the Collectors Universe value is $15,000. Needless to say this coin is VERY RARE any finer.
