1879 Liberty Double Eagle. MS-62 (NGC). Frosty honey gold with olive highlights and active cartwheel luster. Not a great rarity by any stretch, but certainly scarce in Mint State grades. A sizeable amount of grading <em>events </em>at the MS-62 level at NGC lead us to believe several resubmissions have occurred. Pleasing for the grade.
