- BOLIVIA. Cob 4 Reales, 1618-P. Potosi Mint; Assayer Pedro Martin de Palencia (PAL). Philip III. PCGS VF-30. KM-9; Cal-774; Paoletti-151. Weight: 13.31 gms. A RAREassayer with a distinctive monogram in place of a simple initial. This cob presents an impressively complete Habsburg shield on the obverse, with the mintmark and assayer's monogram fully visible on the left. The well-centered reverse has lost detail in the center but remains crisp along the periphery. An intriguing example of this rather singular type. Estimate: $250 - $400.
