- 1889-O Morgan Silver Dollar. MS-65 (NGC). This otherwise brilliant example exhibits blushes of iridescent golden-apricot toning in isolated peripheral areas. Bright mint luster shines forth powerfully as the coin rotates under a light. Both the strike and luster quality are above average for this conditionally challenging issue that is seldom offered any finer than the basal MS-64 level. Provenance: From the Roberta and William C.
