THE CORINTH COLLECTION A GEM from this PROOF ONLY issue. Demand for nickels in circulation was satiated with earlier issues, and only 2,350 Proofs were struck, all for sale to collectors. The presently offered PR65 is very conservatively graded, and awarded, rightly so, CAC's gold bean. Nice, clean surfaces are watery, sleek, and have a modest reflection. The devices are crisp and show a gentle kiss of iridescent, pastel, rainbow color that pops in a light. The eye appeal is great. PCGS 297, NGC 202, CAC GOLD 6.
