FROM THE ISSAQUAH ESTATE Even though there are a few 1864's in MS65, this coin is really nice. We assure you, we have seen a 65 or two that does not look as nice as this! Overall, the surfaces look clean and sleek to the naked eye. Only using a strong glass can you see some tiny scuffs and ticks (mostly on the left obverse). There is a bold glowing luster that is powerful and can be seen from a distance. The obverse also has faint traces of semi-prooflike mirrors when you tilt the coin. A beautiful and totally original mix of golden brown/reddish gold colors swirl all over. Miss Liberty and all of the details are fully struck and have light frost. The eye appeal is gorgeous! PCGS 6, NGC 7, CAC 3. Here is a shocker, the last PCGS coin to sell in auction brought $20,700 in April 2008. The last NGC coin to sell in auction was back in 2007. THIS DATE IS EXTREMELY RARE IN MS64! Now this coin is perfect for someone who does not want an MS65! It has the looks, the rarity, and the freshness. We expect strong bidding here, so be ready! Cert.
