From the Huron Hills Collection. A beautiful, GEM CAMEO Barber half! Fully frosted devices stand out against deeply reflective mirrored fields; in fact the reverse borders on a DCAM classification if taken on its own. A touch of peripheral toning at the rims frames both sides and gives the eye appeal a little extra "pop." Only 912 proofs were struck. PCGS 20, NGC 7, CAC 6. The most recent example to sell in auction brought $2,585 in the 2017 FUN auction, and prior to that one, this coin sold for $2,820 in October 2016. The current PCGS Price Guide lists a value of $3,000 and it would not be a surprise if this GEM brings that or more! Cert. Number 81464436 PCGS # 86547
