- 1844 Braided Hair Cent. N-3. Rarity-2. MS-64 BN (PCGS). A predominantly medium brown example wit glints of faded autumn orange luster shining forth as the surfaces rotate under a light. Boldly defined throughout with a smooth satin texture. CC#3 or 4 for the variety, based on notations on accompanying collector envelopes. Noyes Die State C/C-D. PCGS# 1856. NGC ID: 226A.
