详细说明: 1867-S Liberty Seated Half Dime. MS-65 (NGC). Whereas silver coinage continued to be hoarded in the Eastern states until the early 1870s, out west in California and on the frontier such coins circulated to the same extent throughout the 1860s that they had before the start of the Civil War. Such heavy commercial usage obviously claimed most of the 120,000 half dimes struck in the San Francisco Mint during 1867, the '67-S a scarcer coin in all grades that develops into an important condition rarity in Mint State. This significant Gem is among the finest certified, what with full satin luster to smooth, expertly preserved surfaces. Boldly to sharply struck, and bathed in a warm blend of original pearl gray, reddish-apricot and pale gold iridescence. A definite find for the advanced collector of Liberty Seated coinage.
