1796 Draped Bust. Small Eagle, Wide Date. Bolender-2. BB-63. PCGS graded Fine 15. The variety with small date numerals and small letters on the reverse. The lowest star on left does not quite touch the hair, while there is a die flaw like a tear-drop beneath the eleventh star. The small letters reverse is from the same die as 1795 B-14,1796 B-l and B-2,1797 B-2, and 1798 B-2, though touched up with some letters now appearing stretched due to the vicissitudes of striking.
