详细说明: Truly a gorgeous GEM RED 1941 Doubled Die Obverse Lincoln cent! Boasts immaculate surfaces that are blanketed with a full lustrous red color that draws the eye form a distance. The die doubling occurred primarily in the obverse legends, most clearly visible in ‘TRUST’ and ‘BER’ of ‘LIBERTY’. This stunner will be tough to improve upon. Truly one of the finer examples of the variety with fully defined devices that are brought out by the brilliant, fiery orange coloration. While a well known variety among collectors, these do remain quite rare and are difficult to find in such high grade. We note a single fleck just below the 1 in the date for accuracy, however the eye appeal is unaffected. PCGS 33, NGC 14, CAC 15. The last examples have sold from $2,703 to $4,582 and the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $4,000.
