- Lot 393 1854 N-7 R2+ PCGS graded MS65 Brown, CAC Approved.Lustrous light olive and golden tan with generous traces of faded mint red showing on the reverse. The surfaces are satiny and the eye appeal of this cent is excellent. The only notable marks are a dull nick on star 9 and a speck of carbon nestled between two dentils over star 10. Otherwise this cent is choice. M-LDS, die state b. The fields are flowlined but the dash left of the base of the 1 is still visible (although dull). Our grade is MS60+, tied for CC#8 in the Grellman census. Comes with a nice provenance. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
