详细说明: What an AMAZING toned SUPERB GEM example of this first year of the Barber half dollar series. The mintage of 1,245 is the highest of the series, as collectors demanded an example of this first year of issue. A jazzy mix of colors form a kaleidoscopic-like blend of sultry crimson and seductive teal-blue across the obverse, while the reverse is framed in similar hues, with a vivid untoned, pearly iridescent silver in the center. Thickly and richly frosted devices stand out boldly with sharply struck design types that stand out magnificently against the stark depth and clarity of the surrounding mirrors. A strong glass reveals a tiny line or two under the color, but they have no impact on the OUTSTANDING and gorgeous eye appeal of this SUPERB GEM. PCGS 2, NGC 0. The other example was CAC-approved and sold in the 2017 ANA auction and while pretty, did not have the depth of vivacious color as this one does.
