A gorgeous near-GEM example of this “transitional” Seated Liberty half dollar pattern, struck with the regular issue obverse die, and the reverse displaying GOD OUR TRUST in the field above the eagle on the reverse. Struck on a bronzed copper planchet with a reeded edge and is considered Rarity-6+. A sensational looking coin that is of essentially GEM caliber quality! Rich mahogany toning graces the hard, mirrored surfaces and all of the details are razor sharp and deeply embossed.
