- Beautifully toned example from a lower mintage of 1,100 coins struck in proof format, the 1879 Proof Morgan is seen far less often in the market than it's contemporaries of the 1880's. Bright mirrors feature pretty purple, blue, and golden tints framing sharp pale golden tinted central devices.
