Far better struck than the typical Proof Morgan dollar from the 1888 to 1893 era, this impressive Choice 1889 exhibits razor sharp to full definition that even extends to the central high points. Boldly toned in a marbling of sandy-silver and copper-russet patina, iridescent undertones of blue, mauve and reddish-apricot further enhance this coin's appeal.
