详细说明: Lot 307 1798 S-148 R2 Style I Hair, Large 8. PCGS graded MS-62 Brown. CAC.Frosty medium brown and light chocolate with ample amounts of golden tan faded down from mint color in the protected areas, especially on the reverse. The highpoints of the devices are a slightly darker shade of steel brown and this cent has excellent eye appeal. The surfaces are smooth and the only notable marks are a pair of faint hairline scratches in the field below the hair ribbon and a relatively obvious nick on the left side of the U in UNITED. E-MDS, Breen state IV, with fine die cracks on both sides. In addition there is obvious doubling on the lips and chin (from die bounce or shift). Graded AU55 net AU50 and CC#4 in the Noyes census, his photo #27887. Bland says AU50 and CC#4 in his census. Our grade is AU50. Comes with a very nice provenance.
