- 1892 Barber Dime. Proof-67 Cameo (NGC). CAC. An extraordinary Superb Gem specimen from the very first year of the popular Barber dime series, brilliant on the obverse and showing just a faint golden cast on the reverse. There is razor-sharp definition on all of the design motifs and fantastic reflectivity in the fields. The devices are bright and richly frosted, creating a beautiful Cameo effect on both sides, and the surfaces are exquisitely preserved.
