Satin surfaces exhibit mottled steel-olive and pewter-gray patina that provides superior eye appeal for the assigned grade. A prominent die crack (as made) vertically bisects the right obverse field - the first example with this feature that we can recall handling. One of just 25 silver impressions from these dies.
