A lovely example with deep gunmetal toning that is blended with lilac that comes out of the devices when rotated under a light. Fully struck and very attractive, this is a great example of this date for any collector. PCGS 10, NGC 5, CAC 5. The most recent Tall Date to sell in auction realized $2,640 and was non-CAC. This coin is pedigreed to the Richard Jewell Collection, sold in the 2013 ANA sale, where this one brought $2,350. In today's market with a CU value at $2,950, we think it should sell for more. Cert.
