THE BOYLSTON COLLECTION PART II TIED FOR SECOND FINEST GRADED! Snowy white surfaces are dazzling in their radiance and are remarkably pristine. A teensy toning speck is seen beneath star 8 and a miniscule mint-made strike-through is noted near the R in AMERICA when viewed under strong magnification. In 1878, when the Morgan dollar was introduced into circulation, there was a marked dwindling production of other silver denomination coinage for circulation, which later led to strong collector demand for proof strikes. PCGS 0, NGC 5. Just one coin grades finer, an MS-68 PCGS specimen. The last time a blazing white piece sold at auction was January 2013--more than a decade ago!
