- SWITZERLAND. Swiss Confederation Shooting Festival in Winterthur Silver Medal, 1895. PCGS SPECIMEN-64. R-1756b; Martin 1046. By Georges Hantz, Genf and H. Wildermuth, Winterthur. 45mm. Obverse: City view enclosed within a wreath, medallions at left and right, crossbow and ribbon above and arms below; perimeter legends above and below; Reverse: Helvetia seated right, extending a sprig of laurel; Swiss cross above, city and mountains in background at right. A lovely example of medallic Art Nouveau style with a dove-gray patina and a thin layer of champagne highlights. Comes with display box from before being certified. Estimate: $200 - $400.
