- MOZAMBIQUE. Mozambique - Mexico. 8 Reales, ND (1765). Jose I. PCGS VF-35. KM-29; Gomes-Unlisted. Issued by decree of 20 August 1765 under Governor Baltazar Manoel Pereira do Lago. Countermark: Ligate MR incuse. Applied to the reverse of a 1765-Mo MF Mexico "Pillar" 8 Reales of Charles III (KM-105). Featuring a host coin from the same year as the decree, this piece offers great overall detail remaining, with the assigned grade for the host coin being rather conservative in the opinion of this cataloger.
