- Rich watery mirrors shine, on the obverse from below a thin layer of lavender and champagne toning, the reverse a bit less toned. The strike is sharp and the eye appeal is quite nice. Only 762 proofs were struck. PCGS 36, NGC 37. The last NGC coin was CAC-approved and sold for $1,998 in June 2014. Since that time, the prices of Barber proofs have come down, but worthy of a strong bid nonetheless due to its originality. Cert. Number 3622464001 PCGS # 4880
