- T. W. J. Collection. Discernible luster hugs the borders and refuses to let the grade fall beneath the choice level. Well known among enthusiasts of the series as a key, due in part to a very low mintage (only the 1916's emission was lower), 1927-S can be very difficult to find "nice", this problem-free example showing remarkably few marks for the grade. A peach-grey example which will appeal strongly to the many bidders who still have this hole in their better, circulated collections.
