COLLECTION As fresh as fresh can be, this near-GEM 17-D Type 1 has been off the market for over 30 years and was just recently submitted for grading before being consigned to our Regency Auction. Thick, satiny luster blooms all over. Beautifully toned in pastel orange-rose tones with soft sky blue tones mixed in. Sharply struck in all areas, this VERY CHOICE Mint State example is on the cusp of an even higher grade. The eye appeal is great. PCGS 597, NGC 355, CAC 55. We expect excited bidding activity on this beauty, that will vault it over the published values. PCGS lists $1,250 and the CAC CPG has it at $1,280. An excellent example for any collector.
