SUPERB does not even begin to describe this amazing coin! Deep watery mirrors contrast dramatically against the well struck, frosted devices. Light peripheral blue and gold toning from the obverse frames the obverse. You will not find many that look like this! The surfaces show zero lines or any other imperfection even under strong magnification. PCGS 4, NGC 5, CAC 5. Tied for FINEST in the CAMEO designation. This coin last sold in our Regency IX auction in 2014 for $12,338, and more recently in April 2015 the Newman coin sold for $11,750. The current PCGS value is listed at $14,000.
