- 1824 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-116. Rarity-3. MS-62 (PCGS). Rich shades of olive-gold and sapphire adorn the borders of this lustrous piece. Nicely centered and well struck with a pronounced double profile to Liberty's portrait. This is the third time we have offered this specimen over the past 65 years, beginning with out April 1957 Public Auction Sale. Now freshly available to a new generation of collectors, it is sure to generate considerable interest. Provenance: From the Naples Bay Collection.
