- 1860 Silver Three-Cent Piece. Proof-64 (PCGS). Slightly mottled steel-gray and champagne-pink toning dresses smartly impressed, well mirrored surfaces. From a mintage of 1,000 Proofs, many of which failed to sell in a contemporary numismatic market that was only just beginning to embrace the Mint's yearly Proof coinage program.
