- 1920-S Buffalo Nickel. MS-65 (PCGS). Brilliant satin to softly frosted surfaces are boldly struck in virtually all areas. Although not as rare as the 1920-D in circulated grades, the 1920-S is a leading condition rarity in the Buffalo nickel series. Even low end Mint State coins with poor striking detail can be elusive in today's market. In attractive Gem Mint State, the present example is very rare indeed and worthy of strong bids.
