FROM THE SEATTLE COLLECTION A highly DESIRED issue among collectors. Likely 10 TIMES SCARCER than its Large Motto counterpart, especially if you compare the number of pieces graded by PCGS and NGC for the Large Motto, versus the Small Motto varieties of the date and grade. Generous amounts of MINT RED accent subdued, frosty fields. Keenly struck with all of the design elements struck to full advantage. Under a strong loupe, a few light toning specks are noted for accuracy. The first denomination and year to bear the motto IN GOD WE TRUST on the obverse. PCGS 57, NGC 53. The last non-CAC example sold in April 2017 for $3,290, but CAC specimens have sold in the high 2,000 to low $3,000 range. Cert. Number 13698513 PCGS # 3580.00
