- NETHERLANDS EAST INDIES. Kingdom of the Netherlands. 1/2 Cent, 1855. Utrecht Mint. William III. PCGS PROOF-64 Brown. KM-306; Sch-787. A handsome near-Gem proof, this lovely minor displays electric blue toning that is somewhat common on proofs and a delicate balance of shimmering beauty. A single planchet flaw and a few breaks in gloss likely accounts for the grade, but this example remains a RARE example for the collector of premium pieces. Estimate: $800 - $1,200.
