This is truly an exceptional GEM example of this conditionally VERY RARE date! It is wonderfully preserved and totally original, long off the market and housed in an old green tag holder. This sharply struck 19-S nickel has a dusting of gorgeous blue/green and rose-gold toning on both sides, accented by a bold, underlying luster that radiates brilliantly on both sides. The crisply rendered devices are sharply struck and all the details bold. You could not ask for a more beautifully preserved and highly eye appealing GEM. PCGS 41, NGC 18, CAC 9. The most recent CAC-approved example was graded by NGC and sold for $25,200 in April 2022, and we recently sold a PCGS MS65+ CAC for $35,250 in our January 2022 Regency Auction. This eye catching GEM is housed in an old green tag holder. Cert. Number 6267403 PCGS # 3943
