详细说明: FROM THE YOUNG-DAKOTA COLLECTION This is a glorious and totally original GEM! Clearly this 1885 Proof Morgan was lovingly cared for! Rich, totally original multicolored toning graces both sides, enlivened by the bold, reflective, brilliance of the underlying mirrors. Often times, toned Proof Morgans have obscured mirrors or a lack of contrast. This PQ and totally original GEM 1885 is a very pleasing exception! The toning pattern starts as deep blue-green and purple at the rims, blending to a lovely variegated gold toward the centers. Sharply struck devices are nicely frosted and they contrast wonderfully against the flashy, watery mirrors that have bold clarity and smoothness. The eye appeal is truly inspiring and will delight even the most fastidious collector! Only 930 Proofs were struck. PCGS 19, NGC 12, CAC 10.
