1877 Trade Dollar. MS-61 (NGC). Lightly toned with mottled champagne apricot iridescence around the peripheries, both sides of this coin are actually predominantly brilliant. Suitably lustrous and uncommonly smooth for the assigned grade, with a sharp strike to most elements of the design. This late date trade dollar is among the more popular issues of the denomination for both circulated and Mint State type purposes.
