Unbelievable quality! No doubt at least the second FINEST KNOWN. Finer than the Simpson Collection coin that we sold in December 2015. A bold frosty/satin mint bloom glows on ultra smooth surfaces. Beautiful aquamarine and teal graces the obverse with accents of totally original untoned silver and peachy, rose-gold. Sharply struck on both sides, this SUPERB GEM is essentially completely without flaw! PCGS 17, NGC 15, CAC 8. This is the ONLY MS67+ graded at either service, and only a single MS68 is graded at PCGS. Neither this coin, nor the PCGS 68 have ever sold in auction. For the entire series, we see 3 coins graded in 67+ and only 5 in 68; NONE OF THESE have ever sold in auction! The aforementioned Simpson coin sold for $6,169.
