Tied for FINEST graded at both PCGS and NGC, this is one of the best of the best and what an awesome coin to start off your world class Buffalo nickel set! Virtual perfection! A thick luster beams with a glowing mint radiance on both sides accenting the vivid and stunning pastel rainbow toning that graces the obverse. Tangerine, pink, emerald, pale blue, and vibrant silver comes out in concentric circles on the obverse and the reverse is a more even olive-russet-tan with colorful hints around the lower portions of the buffalo. A bold strike has left every detail fully rendered, from the Indian’s braid and feathers. All the definition of the bison’s head, haunches, and the mound that he stands on are seemingly chiseled they are so sharp. This coin is about as PERFECT as you could ever hope to find in a circulation strike Type 1 Buffalo!
